Tajik side uses heavy armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems and aviation

Heavy fighting is going on along the entire perimeter of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, where the Tajik side uses heavy armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and aircraft, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

All attacks from the ground and air are repelled from the Kyrgyz side, making it impossible to capture the territory, settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic, the report said.

Deputy Cabinet of Ministers — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant-General Kamchybek Tashiev, is on site, who is taking measures to cease fire and stabilize the situation.
